Freezing Marketing Until the Presidential Election

Posted by admin on January 31st, 2012 at 2:19 pm

I’ve experienced an interesting phenomenon in the first month of 2012. Several of our prospects have chosen to delay their marketing efforts for their business until after the upcoming presidential election. In other words, they are willing to wait an entire year before committing to a serious marketing plan.

I find it difficult to understand how or why businesses can wait. So many of our prospects want instant results for their business. They want phone calls today as a result of marketing they started yesterday. A business that waits another year to start their marketing should be prepared to wait a year and a half to see results.

Can your business wait a year and a half to see results?

While the election may have an influence on the taxes that your business pays. That impact will not happen instantly. While bills may be passed and become law in the next presidential term, they will take time. Businesses have a choice. They can remain in paralyzed regarding their marketing efforts or they can take on a more aggressive approach. Paralysis can lead to death. Don’t let your business die.
